A Community of Faith
In this series we consider how Jesus Christ is prefigured and His coming is predicted in the Old Testament scriptures. We are meeting online only at 10 AM through January 30. On February 6th, we’ll resume live meetings at 11:00 AM. At that time we’ll begin a new series, The Gospel Study, beginning with an in-depth look at the Gospel of Luke.
We will be resuming our regular Sunday schedule at True Hope beginning this Sunday, June 27, at 11:00 AM. We will be meeting onsite in the Fellowship Hall and live streaming the service via Zoom.
The transmission rate of the Covid-19 virus has declined substantially and the State of California and the County of Santa Clara have ended all restrictions on meetings. Masks are not required for anyone who has completed one of the approved vaccine protocols at least 14 days prior to attending a meeting.

I’ll be continuing my series on the Kings of Judah, considering the life of King Uzziah. Uzziah achieved remarkable success and stability for Judah yet he eventually succumbed to the temptation of pride. There are valuable lessons we can learn from his life.

Henry Ford famously quipped, “History is more or less bunk.” Winston Churchill wrote, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” These quotes remind us of both the danger and the value of history. Humans can craft “history” to justify a course of action. On the other hand, we can learn from history to avoid the consequences of an unwise course.
In the book of 2nd Chronicles, we are presented with the stories of the kings of Judah following the breakup of the United Kingdom of Israel, ruled by David and Solomon. In these stories we see both the blessings of loyalty to the LORD as well as the consequences of compromise and rebellion.
In this series we’ll survey the history of Judah and consider the experiences of a number of her kings, some faithful and some unfaithful to God. We’ll draw lessons on how we are to live and how we can be loyal to God and love our country without succumbing to national idolatry.

Can you trust your emotions? How do you handle anger and grief? Are you able to find joy in the midst of life’s challenges? This series will explore what the Bible says about healthy emotions and how the Spirit of God transforms our hearts to align our emotions with our Heavenly Father.
Join us Easter Sunday, April 4, at 10:00 AM, as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!. We’ll be meeting live in combined worship with Rosewood Community Church at their campus (1397 W. Hedding St.).
Covid protocols will be observed: if you have symptoms of illness please stay home, your temperature will be taken, masks must be worn, hand sanitizer will be available, and safe social distancing will be observed.
